Don DiMasi: The Reverend Donny D

Don has been a student of rock and roll for decades, starting in high school in Wyoming while listening to the classic greats like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Bad Company, Montrose, and of course ZZ Top, among many others. With that love of rock and roll and a guitar given to him by his dad at an early age, Don started playing in a band with high school classmates and eventually took to the road touring through the Western US and Canada, playing a mixture of cover and original material

During the '80s and early '90s, Don was one of the founding members of "Andresen", playing all original music. The band got some attention and was able to open shows for REO Speedwagon, Cheap Trick, Eddie Money, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Blackfoot, Pat Travers, Warrant, Johnny Van Zant, and others.

After a hiatus to stay home while his kids were young, Don returned to the Denver club scene where he has been active for the last 20 years in a number of projects, most notably the popular Denver cover band ‘Vivid Black’ for 10 years.

Don lives in Arvada, and enjoys his family, dogs, hot rods, and everything guitar!
